The Amesbury Chamber of Commerce recognized Jackson Lumber & Millwork as Family Business of the Year at a Salute to Business event on May 23rd. Congressman John Tierney was on hand to present a Certificate of Recognition to Mark Torrisi, who accepted the award on behalf of the company.
Jackson Lumber was chosen for “going above and beyond for the local community,” and for contributing to the economic development of Amesbury. The Chamber noted “As primarily a supplier for contractors, Jackson quickly adjusted to local demand and stocked the Amesbury store with various consumer products. The hands-on displays and samples at the store allow customers to research actual products prior to purchase.”
